Recreation Area Improvement Contractor
Ryno Construction was contracted by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to complete substantial improvements to the 18 Road Recreation Area, a popular destination for mountain biking and camping in western Colorado. The project scope focused on enhancing accessibility, expanding capacity, and improving the overall visitor experience.
Campsite Construction
As part of the contract, Ryno Construction successfully constructed 23 new individual campsites, each equipped with ADA-compliant fire pits, standard campfire rings, and picnic tables to support recreational use. Site development included precision sub-grading and road base installation to ensure long-term durability and proper drainage.
Precast Toilet and Gazebo Installation
The project also included the installation of a new pre-cast concrete vault toilet building to improve sanitary facilities for visitors. A steel picnic gazebo was also erected, providing a shaded communal area for day use and group activities.
Quality Delivered
All work was completed in alignment with BLM standards and environmental stewardship guidelines, ensuring minimal disturbance to the surrounding landscape while significantly enhancing the site’s infrastructure and usability.
